Obituary for David Ryan Hendrickson

David Ryan Hendrickson
Officer David Ryan Hendrickson, 40 of Van Buren passed away Saturday, December 2, 2017 in a local hospital. He served as a police officer for three years at the Van Buren Police Department and twelve years at the Fort Smith Police Department. He was a member of Heritage United Methodist Church of Van Buren. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Eugene & Millie Knight; paternal grandparents, C.E. & Dorothy Hendrickson, Finas Beckman; step-father, Mike Price.

Funeral service will be 2:00 P.M.Thursday, December 7, 2017 at First Baptist Church of Van Buren Worship Center at 1009 Main Street, Van Buren with burial at Gracelawn Cemetery in Van Buren with police honors under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren.

He is survived by his wife, Jessica Hendrickson of the home; one daughter, Gracelynn Jo Visalli of the home; four sons, Noah, Jacob and Micah Hendrickson, Russ Visalli all of the home; his parents, Jan Anderson; Larry and Pam Hendrickson all of Van Buren; two sisters, Jennifer Gragg and husband, Mike of Arkoma, Oklahoma, Julie Stockton and husband, Brandon of Van Buren; two brothers, Aron Price of Georgia, Blake Mashburn of Van Buren; three nieces, Abby, Mackenzie, Zoee; four nephews, Nathan, Tyler, Bentley and Brycen; paternal grandmother, Alta Beckham of Van Buren; mother and father-in-laws, Tom and JoEllen Banhart; his brother-in-law, Ryan Banhart and family; many aunts, uncles, cousins and two great nephews

The family will visit with relatives and friends Wednesday, December 6, 2017 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Ocker Funeral Home, 700 Jefferson Street; Van Buren, Arkansas. the family has requested that you wear the #superdave shirt.

Pallbearers will be his original B1-Troop, Sgt. Jack Robinson, Cpl. Nick Harvey, Cpl. Shane Ridenour, Cpl. Chase Decroo, Cpl. Mike Stewart, Officer, George Edelen, Sgt. Randy Allen and Officer Justin Wing.

Honorary pallbearers will be Mike Gragg, Brandon Stockton, Ryan Banhart, Nathan Gragg, Tyler Stockton, Aron Price, Chris Wilson, Steve Colley and the fellow officers of Van Buren and Fort Smith Police Department.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Almost Home Shelter 1808 Hidden Valley Van Buren, Arkansas 72956.
