David Hendrickson was a dear friend of mine and I was sadden to hear of his passing. I got to know David when I was a reporter at KPOM in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He was the assignment editor and then the station downsized and made him my photographer. The two us spent long days together and in that time I learned what a wonderful person he truly was. We worked extremely hard but had so much fun together...we laughed and even cried together. He will forever hold a special place in my heart. To his family, you all are in my thoughts and prayers.
