Proverbs 31 woman

As I think about Sharon Brents I am flodded with the many ways she impacting my life from the time I was a your girl until now as a grown wife and mother of 4.  My spiritual journey to salvation began under the ministry and influence of my then Pastor Alen and Sharon Brents.  They were a vibrent young couple who loved the Lord and worked tirelessly to feed, teach, and and grow the body of Christ they had been entrusted with.  As a yourng girl of 7 and 8 years old i saw in her a woman with a heart for her Lord and a devotion to her faith and her husband that was something I was drawn to in my own life.  Other than my own mother and father I had never seen another couple that so openly worshiped the Lord and had such a huge heart for giving and being sacrificial.  i told sharon in recent years what an impact her life and the way she daily carried herself and treated others affected me at that age.  As I grew up and moved away i thought of Sharon often and went back in my mind to the example she set.  She did this simply by the way she lived her life with integrety and honesty...when i became a pastor's wife i thought of her again and  the time period when she was my pastor's wife ...the time when i learned to love church, worship, and most importantly God's word and His people...she was such a part of that! in recent years she came back into my life and we were able to share and pray for each other.  I will be eternally grateful for the example she set for me and others and I know i will see her again! "charm is deceptive and beauty is fleeting, but a woman who fears the Lord will be praised.  Give her the reward of her labor, and let her works praise her at the city gates." Proverbs 31: 30-31
