What a great man. Two stories I want to share about Bud. When he heard I was doing a Bible Study at the nursing home near my office, he wanted to be a part of it, and I was thrilled to have him (and his wife) be a part of it. But my favorite Bud Mixon story was from court. I won't go into the full details, but he had to testify about something in a case. When the parties had rested, the judge said "Before you do closing arguments, you need to know I believed every word Mr. Mixon said." His reputation outside of the church was that of a truthful man; inside, it was that of a child of God. I am convinced he is now seeing what the rest of God's family is dreaming of.
