Melvin Ray  Brasuell
Melvin Ray Brasuell, 70 of Van Buren passed away Monday, October 8, 2018 in his home. He was a retired truck driver for Crawford County Highway Department. He was a lifelong resident of Crawford County. He attended Oak Grove Baptist Church in Van Buren. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Daisie (Bryant) Brasuell; two sisters, one brother and one son.

Funeral service will be at 10:00 A.M. Thursday, October 11, 2018 at Ocker Memorial Chapel in Van Buren with burial at Macedonia Cemetery in Uniontown under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara (Rogers) Brasuell of the home; one daughter, Melinda Barton of Benson, Illinois; two sons, George Brasuell and wife, Shari of Houston, Texas, Dwight Payne and wife, Debbie of Cedarville; six sisters, two brothers, six grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

The family will visit with relatives and friends Wednesday, October 10, 2018 from 5-7 P.M. at Ocker Funeral Home 700 Jefferson Street Van Buren.

Pallbearers will be Travis Payne, Randall Bond, Jason Rogers, Zack Brasuell, Kenneth C. McClendon and Warren Rogers.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Eulis Bowles, Kim Thompson, John Shelly, Jacob Brasuell, Daniel Oden and Chris Payne.
