Junior Ray Metcalf, 79 of Van Buren passed away Thursday, September 27, 2018 in a local hospital. He was of the Baptist Faith. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dora (Parker) Metcalf; one son, Jimmy Metcalf; his parents, Tommy and Lois (Hattabaugh) Metcalf; one brother, Charles Metcalf; one grandson, Brandon Metcalf.

Funeral service will be at 10:00 AM Monday, October 1, 2018 at Ocker Memorial Chapel in Van Buren with burial at Fairview Cemetery in Van Buren under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren.

He is survived by two daughters, Angie Bock and husband Vince of Van Buren, Lisa Towns of Fort Smith; two sons, Randy Metcalf of Texas City, Texas, Russell Metcalf of Van Buren; one sister, Sharron Jones of Fayetteville; twenty four grandchildren and twenty nine great grandchildren.

The family will visit with relatives and friends Sunday, September 30, 2018 from 2:00 to 4:00 P.M. at Ocker Funeral Home 700 Jefferson Street, Van Buren.

Pallbearers will be Josh Metcalf, Jeremy Risner, Justin Kazy, Shelby Robinson, Chris Kazy, Billy Alexander, Dustin McKinney and Gene Bock.
