Josephine Leftwich, 85 of Fort Smith passed away Thursday, August 22, 2018 at her home surrounded by her family. She was a retired seamstress for Eads Brothers Furniture in Fort Smith. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Fort Smith. She is preceded in death by her parents, George and Martha (Epley) Pollock; one brother, Art Pollock.

Funeral Service will be at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, August 25, 2018 at First Baptist Church Fort Smith with burial at Forest Park Cemetery in Fort Smith under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home Van Buren.

She is survived by her husband, Cleo Eugene Leftwich of the home; one daughter, Louise Spaunhurst and husband, Ed of Fort Smith; one son, Hugh Eugene Leftwich and wife, Claudia of Fort Smith; one sister, Louise Root of Tulsa, Oklahoma; two brothers, Don Pollock and wife, Wanda of Van Buren, Hal Pollock of Roland, Oklahoma; five grandchildren, John Leftwich and wife, Beth, Donita Jacobs and husband, Josh, Teressa Strizich and husband, John, Aaron Leftwich and Tabitha, Melissa Creel and husband, Skylar; thirteen great grandchildren; one brother-in-law, Walter Leftwich and wife, Bobbie of Prairieville, Louisiana.

Pallbearers will be her John Leftwich, Aaron Leftwich, John Strizich, Skylar Creel, Josh Jacobs and Mike Allen.

The family will visit with relatives and friends Friday, August 24, 2018 from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. at Ocker Funeral Home 700 Jefferson Street, Van Buren.

In Lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church Fort Smith Children’s Ministry or Children’s Bus Ministry at P.O. Box 609 Fort Smith, Arkansas 72902.
