Week long dive trip, living aboard the boat "Avalon", in the Exuma Sound. I had the pleasure of Scherrel being my dive buddy and bunk mate for a week of fun, excitement and adventure on the dive trip of a lifetime. Speaking of adventure, Scherrel was a daredevil and loved adventure, she knew no fear when in the water. She loved the sea and all the creatures in it. On one particular dive we were on a sandy bottom when I noticed a shark go by, soon followed by another. Concerned if it was one shark circling or several I was looking around and trying to be still and not become bait! I looked for my dive buddy Scherrel only to find her swimming fast chasing that shark! Not sure who she loved more, me or the shark? She showed no fear only love for every living creature. 

On the same trip while diving a blue hole we decended over the edge of the rim into the hole. Scherrel was off and going down ahead of me. I was at 83ft. and looked and she was below me! Again no fear. That one got us a reprimand from the captain for going so deep. Thats the Scherrel I know and love, chasing sharks and living over the edge.
