Scherell Hurst, 56 of Van Buren passed away Tuesday, July 17, 2018 in Ozark. She was a registered nurse at Mercy Hospital in Fort Smith. She enjoyed going to the beach, scuba diving, being with her grandchildren, fishing and camping. She was preceded in death by her mother Ellen Townsend Hurst and her brother Kenny Hurst.

Funeral services will be 10AM, Friday, July 27, 2018 at Ocker Memorial Chapel in Van Buren with burial at Gill Cemetery under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren. The family will visit with relatives and friends one hour prior to the service.

She is survived by her daughter Monica Baggett and husband Russell of Van Buren; one son Josh Hurst of Cedarville; her father Noel Handy Hurst of Cedarville; two sisters Janet Beaver of Van Buren and Kathy Hurst of Fort Smith; four grandchildren Sierra Hurst, Haley Hurst, Victoria Hurst and Racen Baggett.
