Obituary for Harvey Ray Robinson

Harvey Ray  Robinson
Harvey Ray Robinson, 88 of Afton, Oklahoma passed away Friday, July 13, 2018 in a Joplin hospital. He was a bridge builder, a United States Army Veteran and a Mason of Masonic Lodge # 187 in Grove, Oklahoma. He was preceded in death by his parents Ray and Sealue (Spencer) Robinson, one brother Dewey Robinson, four sisters Gladys McGhee, Patsy Smith, Faye Duvall and Lawana Robins.

Funeral services will be 11 AM, Tuesday at Gentry Cemetery in Greenwood, Arkansas under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren, Arkansas. Past Grandmaster of Oklahoma Masons Ronald Chambers will officiate for the Masonic Funeral Rites, assisted by Frank Houck and Don Essary from Grove Lodge 187.

He is survived by two daughters Carolyn Robinson and Barbara Robinson both of Afton, Oklahoma; four grandchildren Julie Harper of Greenville, Tennessee, Misti Heston and husband James of Rush Springs, Oklahoma, Jack Fisher of Chickasha, Oklahoma and Amanda Fisher of Arizona; numerous great-grandchildren.

Family will visit with relatives and friends Monday, July 16, 2018 from 5-7 PM at Ocker Funeral Home 700 Jefferson Street Van Buren.
