I have been blessed, honored , and privileged to have many memories of Mr Paul Nash. I have shared a friendship with his Daughter Paula since 7th grade. We can recall many happy memories spent with the Nash family over the years. Mr Nash was a gentleman, being a man of few words, a man of his word, the kind, quiet, strong, stern type .Mr Nash was always busy , but he took the time to listen to our stories/questions / concerns ,and he called us each by name. I know how much he loved his bride Mary of 65 yrs. Every time I was with him,he spoke kindly of her in one way or another. Mary Nash makes a famous cornbread dressing and strawberry punch drink in which I have enjoyed several times over the years. In youth Paula and I were tortured, annoyed, harassed, picked at constantly by her brothers (as boys do) when we were at their home. Mr Nash would come to our rescue by saying “ Kimmy Dean ,you and Kelly leave those girls alone!” Paula had a powder blue colored New 1972 Barracuda which we enjoyed in the 1970’s . “ Styling” Dragging Main in 70’s “How cool was that?” In Later years I enjoyed visiting and shopping with Mr Nash at the “Rock House Good friends are a Blessing!. Thank you , Rhilla Lynn Nichols Sevenstar
