Pat Morris

I was sadden to see today where my new found friend had died. I met Charlie appx 4 years ago when I came home one evening and found him sitting on my storm cellar. I had seen him many times walking in our community. He told me he got tired so he found a place to rest. that is how we met. He got to where that was a resting place for him. Through the years we would see each other when he stopped sometimes and would talk. We found we knew some of the same people in retail and he even had known my late husband. My husband kept S & Q in business for years. (Ha) Then I had worked for Penneys twice in my life time. We had some good chats on that cellar. When him and Shirley would ride by in the golf cart there was always a wave from both, Charlie was like a fixture in this community and I know he will be missed. R.I.P. Charlie
