Julio Cruz Hernandez, 60 of Van Buren passed away Wednesday, January 31, 2018 in a local hospital. He was owner/operator of rental properties. He enjoyed working on his cars and spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edmundo and Francisca (Gomez) Hernandez; one brother, Edmundo Hernandez.

He is survived by his wife, Cecilia (Fuentes) Hernandez of the home; three daughters, Thelma Ortiz and husband, Mario of California, Estefania and Frances Hernandez both of Van Buren; two sons, Vicente Mendoza and Tito Hernandez both of Van Buren; two sisters and one brother; six grandchildren.

The family will visit with relatives and friends Friday, February 2, 2018 from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. at Ocker Funeral Home 700 Jefferson Street Van Buren with cremation to follow.
