Dorothy Virgina Reed, 80 of Van Buren passed away Tuesday, January 2, 2018 in her home. She was a homemaker and of the Free Will Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Reed; both parents, Nelson R. and Minnie C. (Sawyers) Lowery; thirteen of her siblings.

Graveside services will be at 10:00 A.M. Thursday, January 4, 2018 at Bryant Cemetery in Cove City, Arkansas under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren,Arkansas.

She is survived by two daughters, Geraldine Capps and Carolyn Perkins both of Van Buren; one brother, Vernon Less Lowery of Van Buren; six grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

The family will visit with relatives and friends Wednesday, January 3, 2018 from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. at Ocker Funeral Home 700 Jefferson Street, Van Buren, Arkansas.
