Carolene A. Ramer, 68, of Cedarville, Arkansas passed away Friday, December 15, 2017 in a local hospital. She was born January 19, 1949 in Short, OK. She retired from Mead Containers in Fort Smith, was a lifetime resident of this area, was of the Baptist Faith, a wonderful seamstress and an avid dog lover. She was preceded in death by her mother, Leota (Comstock) Small and step-father Harry Small .

Funeral service will be at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at Ocker Memorial Chapel in Van Buren with burial at Gill Cemetery in Van Buren under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren.

She is survived by two daughters, Tammy Haffelder and husband, Roger of Rudy, Arkansas and Kathy Goodson of Muldrow, OK; three sisters, Peggy Yancey and husband, Douglas of Kibler, AR, Barbara Riddle of Muldrow, OK and Patsy Jones and husband, Dennis of Susanville, CA; two brothers, Sonny Small of Roland, OK and Mike Small and wife Linda of Muldrow, OK; 4 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren; her step-mother, Carol Small of Tyler, TX; Several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be James Mooring, Matt Goodson, Mike Small, Ronnie Murphy, Michael Mullins and Jake Mullins.

The family will visit with relatives and friends Tuesday December 19, 2017 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Ocker Funeral Home, 700 Jefferson Street, Van Buren, Arkansas.
