Gurvas Wayne "Wayne"  McCarley
Gurvas “Wayne” McCarley, 80 of Fort Smith passed away Thursday, October 26, 2017 in a local hospital. He was a carpenter and woodsman at Riverside Furniture for over twenty years in Fort Smith and was a U.S. Army Veteran. He was preceded in death by his wife Edna Pasquali McCarley, his parents Pierce and Lucille (Thames) McCarley; one brother Dee McCarley.

Funeral service will be graveside 1PM Monday, October 30, 2017 at the U.S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren, Arkansas.

He is survived by one daughter Mary Karlsson and her husband Eric of Fort Smith; two sons Kenneth McCarley and his wife Stephanie of Florida and Tony McCarley and his wife Donna of Fort Smith; one sister Jean Kersh of Lufkin Texas; two brothers Joe McCarley and his wife Sue of Lamar; Fred Mathews and his wife Cindy of California; a sister-in-law, Darlene McCarley of Riggins, Idaho; ten grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.

The family will visit with relatives and friends Sunday, October 29, 2017 from 2-4 at Ocker Funeral Home, 700 Jefferson Street, Van Buren, Arkansas.

Pallbearers will be Alex McCarley, Josh Wagoner, Shawn Lamont, Terry Flanagan, Dale Labs, Frank Cameron, and Mark Bryant.
