Martha Alice Jones, 87, of Van Buren, Arkansas passed away Saturday, October 14, 2017 in a local Hospital. She was a homemaker and a member of the Heritage United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert E. Jones; her parents John and Madge (Stevenson) Howard; and a sister Dorothy Carmack.

At her request there will be no formal service. Burial will be at Gracelawn Cemetery in Van Buren under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren, Arkansas.

She is survived by two daughters, Thresa Gail Gregory and husband Butch of Kingman, Kansas and Sherrill Dudley and husband Jesse of Claremore, Oklahoma; a son, Richard D. Jones and wife Donna of Arkansas city, Kansas; a brother, Robert Howard of California; and her best friend, Dave Foliart; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

The family extends their gratitude to Mercy Hospice and Alma Health and Rehab and her friends and Prayer Warriors.
