Condolences

Condolence From: Latricia Patton Hutchens
Condolence: Growing up a couple of states away from my grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins, Dad made sure we spent holidays and vacations with family in Arkansas. Aunt Sharon was a big part of those great times. She made sure we were well fed, learned something, had fun, and music was usually involved. I can’t play a board game or ping pong without remembering the home she created for her family. I can still see clearly the piano in the living room that she loved for her family to play. Every day, I look at the quilt in my bedroom that she lovingly gave me. She gave one of her treasures made by her mother, my grandmother. It’s Aunt Sharon I think of when I order Girl Scout cookies every year. I’ll always remember with a grateful heart the time she took care of my brother and me when my sister went to heaven so young. She made a very difficult time so much better. She loved us, played with us, and again there was music. My children have their own special memories of Aunt Sharon and they have been sharing them with me today. We are so thankful for her influence and presence in our lives. She was such a strong woman. She showed her love through service…through teaching.

Condolence: My memories of Aunt Sharon are warm. She was always pleasant and eager to listen to my stories, as a kid, that was so important. She and Uncle Buford let a couple of city kids stay with them for a long weekend one summer. There was fun, excitement and mischief. Aunt Sharon turned a blind eye to the harmless shinanagins we engaged in. She knew that Alan and i were making memories that would never leave us!I remember how long Sharon laughed as i was in her kitchen and i gagged when I realized chicken eggs have poo on them sometimes.I respect women that raise large families. I love my family and am thankful for the times that Buford and Sharon came to Atlanta to visit us. I'm most thankful to know that I will see my aunt again in heaven. I love you Gina Latta Peal

Condolence: Sharon was one of the most loving and generous people I've known. She was kind and thoughtful and will be greatly missed. She had the best laugh. I can still hear it.

Condolence: I would like to express my heartfelt sympathy to the family for the loss of your dear Sharon. I hope that you will find comfort in the words of Jesus at John 5:28,29 where he promised that the day is coming when he is going to resurrect back to life those in the grave. Until then, it is just like they are sleeping. (John 11:11-13) May your family draw strength from Jehovah, the God of all Comfort.
