Cecilia Elizabeth Kohler, 96, of Fort Smith, Arkansas passed away on Friday, August 18, 2017 in a local nursing home. She was born on February 6, 1921 in Paris, Arkansas to Fred and Mary (Heilos) Wald. She was a homemaker and a longtime member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Louis Kohler and her son Greg Kohler.
Funeral Mass will be 10:00AM, Monday, August 21, 2017 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with burial to follow in Holy Cross Cemetery under the direction of Ocker-Putman Funeral Home of Fort Smith, Arkansas.
She is survived by her four sons, Ricky Kohler and his wife Patti of Fort Smith, AR, David Kohler and his wife Martha of Lavaca, AR, Kenny Kohler of Fort Smith, AR and Brian Kohler and his wife Lajeana of Alexander, AR; one brother, James Wald of Fort Smith, AR; her daughter-in-law, Denise Kohler of Greenwood, AR; 10 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
Pallbearers are Brad, Keith, Michael, Mark and Stephen Kohler and Tim Thomas.
Rosary will be 6:00PM, Sunday, August 20, 2017 at Ocker-Putman Funeral Home. The family will visit with friends beginning at 5:00 prior to the rosary.
