Joshua Stephen "Josh"  Gossage
Joshua Stephen Gossage, 35 of Mountainburg died Friday, August 4, 2017, in Van Buren. He was employed by the Arkansas State Parks at Mount Magazine. He was born October 20, 1981, in Van Buren. He loved to hunt, fish and spend time with friends and family. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, John Henderson Gossage and his maternal grandparents Ray Brotherton and Irene Jones Brotherton, two uncles, Johnny Gossage and Harley Gossage.
He is survived by his parents, Ronnie and Ninette (Brotherton) Gossage of Alma, AR; his wife Heather Mae Gossage of the home; two daughters, Ravenne and BrookLynn of the home; his paternal grandmother, Ida Bea Smith Gossage of Ozark, AR; three aunts, Sally Gossage Acord and husband Gary Acord of Ozark, Edna Gossage of Ozark, Jeannie Booker of Barling; two uncles, Bill Gossage and wife Tonya Gossage of Little Rock, Skip Brotherton of Barling; and numerous cousins and friends.
Funeral service will be 10:00 A. M. Thursday, August 10, 2017 at Ocker Chapel of Alma with interment in Conley Cemetery in Mountainburg, AR under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Alma. Rev. Jeff Parker and Rev. Justin Allen will be officiating.
The family will visit with friends from 5:30 until 7:30 p.m. Wednesday evening, August 9, 2017 at Ocker Funeral Home of Alma, 917 Hwy. 64 East, Alma, AR
Serving as pallbearers will be Lucas Caldwell, Daniel Godwin, Jared Gregory, Dennis Shores, Josh Arnold and Levi Smith.
Honorary pallbearers will be John Gossage, Jeremiah Smith, Daithan Booker, Bill Collier, Aaron Alford, Steve Bolin, T.J. McKenzie, Paul Roper, Becky Bariola, Brad Hyman, Troy Hughes and his Arkansas State Parks Family and Friends.
