Matthew Jon Hill, 31 of Fort Smith passed away Monday, July 24, 2017 in a local hospital. He was a past employee for both the City of Fort Smith and the City of Van Buren. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather Ralph E. Hill.

Funeral services will be 12:00 Noon, Tuesday, August 1, 2017 at Ocker Memorial Chapel in Van Buren with burial at Gracelawn Cemetery under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren.

He is survived by one daughter Mackenzie Hill of Fort Smith; two sons Romeo Hill of Wisconsin and Marcus Hill of Fort Smith; his mother Karen Hill Cravens and Ed Cravens of Fort Smith; his father Jonathan Hill and his companion Diane Fowler of Fort Smith; two sisters Jhona Hill of Fort Smith and Michelle Ward of New York; one brother Michael Ward of Fort Smith; his paternal grandmother Lois W. Hill of Fort Smith; his maternal grandparents Wallace Acorn and his wife Beulah of Fort Smith.

Pallbearers will be Jonathan Hill, Michael Ward, Randy Acorn, D.J. Hare, Ed Cravens and Johnny Cary.

Family will visit with relatives and friends Monday, July 31, 2017 from 5-7 PM at Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren, 700 Jefferson Street.
