Dennis Jones, 64, of Fort Smith, passed away Saturday, July 15, 2017 in a local hospital. He was a Veteran of the U. S. Air Force, having obtained the rank of Sergeant. He was a technician for Systron-Donner. He was preceded in death by both parents, Robert and Barbara Ellen (Munt) Jones.

Graveside service will be 10AM, Tuesday, July 25, 2017 at the U.S. National Cemetery with military honors in Fort Smith under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren.

He is survived by a daughter, Megan Jones of Fort Smith; a son Keith Jones of Pleasanton, California; a brother Rich Jones of Kensington, California; and one granddaughter, Genesis Jones of Fort Smith; a niece Gwen Shapiro of Eureka, California; a nephew Thomas Jones of Vacaville, California.
